If you’ve just tuned in, you are listening to a special UNIVERSAL NEWS BROADCAST. We are recapping the major past events, from Israel’s rebirth through the Tribulation and destruction of the world during the Battle of Armageddon.
The two witnesses were given power by God to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing was able to hurt them. These two witnesses (or two prophets) were also called THE TWO CANDLESTICKS (or menorahs, or lampstands) STANDING BEFORE THE GOD (or Lord) OF THE EARTH.
God gave them great power to do all sorts of miracles. They caused the Antichrist great difficulty. The power of Satan and the Antichrist could not match the power of the two witnesses, neither could Satan counter the miracles the two witnesses did. Thus, all that heard them (the whole world) knew their power was greater than that of Satan and his Antichrist.
AND THEY PROPHESIED A THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND THREESCORE DAYS (or 1260 days). Their lives were protected by God.
Despite the great power of the Antichrist, the two witnesses could not be killed until the days of their prophecy were fulfilled. They were CLOTHED IN SACKCLOTH.
These were not clothed in the beautiful apparel that some priests, preachers, and rabbi wear. Sackcloth was a form of clothing, which represented repentance, humbleness, mourning, and distress.
And when any person tried to do them any harm or kill them, they themselves were killed by fire.
Elijah also had caused fire to come down out of heaven and devour his enemies, when he was previously on the earth.
The entire Tribulation was thought to be
2520 days long,
or 84 months of 30 days each,
or 7 years of 360 days each.
The Tribulation was divided into two equal parts. The first part and the second part.
The division of these parts was called the midst or middle of the Tribulation.
Each part (or each half) was 1260 days, or 42 months, or 3½ years long.
The Tribulation (Day 1) began with the Antichrist confirming a covenant with Israel and others for 7 years.
Twelve hundred and sixty days after the covenant, the Antichrist was to move into the Temple. This was to be followed by an image of the Antichrist being put on a wing of the Temple. This was the Abomination of Desolation. This was to be the exact midst or middle of the Tribulation.
Then the last half—which was 1260 days, or 42 months, or 3½ years would end just before Armageddon would explode.
However, the Scriptures made it clear that if the Tribulation would have gone the entire length, no flesh would be saved—no one would have survived.
It is written: Ro 9:27-ESAIAS ALSO CRIETH CONCERNING ISRAEL, THOUGH THE NUMBER OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL BE AS THE SAND OF THE SEA, A REMNANT (or we may say, a select group) SHALL BE SAVED:
28-FOR HE (God) WILL FINISH THE WORK (the Tribulation), AND CUT IT (the Tribulation) SHORT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS: BECAUSE A SHORT WORK (or a shortened Tribulation) WILL THE LORD MAKE UPON THE EARTH.
The Lord cut the Tribulation short.
Mt 24:21,22-FOR THEN SHALL BE GREAT TRIBULATION, SUCH AS WAS NOT SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD TO THIS TIME, NO, NOR EVER SHALL BE. AND EXCEPT THOSE DAYS SHOULD BE SHORTENED (the days of the Tribulation), THERE SHOULD NO FLESH (or life) BE SAVED: BUT FOR THE ELECT'S SAKE THOSE DAYS (the days of the Tribulation) SHALL BE SHORTENED. In other words, for the elect's sake, God cut the Tribulation short.
Mk 13:19,20-FOR IN THOSE DAYS SHALL BE AFFLICTION, SUCH AS WAS NOT FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION WHICH GOD CREATED UNTO THIS TIME, NEITHER SHALL BE. AND EXCEPT THAT THE LORD HAD SHORTENED THOSE DAYS (the days of the Tribulation), NO FLESH SHOULD BE SAVED: BUT FOR THE ELECT'S SAKE, WHOM HE HATH CHOSEN, HE HATH SHORTENED THE DAYS (of the Tribulation). In other words, for the elect's sake, God cut the Tribulation short.
As soon as the image of the Antichrist was set on a wing of the Temple (which is called the Abomination of Desolation), the elect were to flee for their lives, as the forces of the Antichrist were already on the way to their homes to arrest them. Again, when the Antichrist set up the Abomination on a wing of the rebuilt Temple making it desolate, the elect were to flee.
Had the Tribulation not been cut short, all the elect would have had to do is count 1260 days from the confirming of the covenant that began the Tribulation—and then flee for their lives. However, God cut the first part of the Tribulation, which was supposed to be 1260 days. Therefore, they had to watch for the Abomination of Desolation to occur, and then escape fast. The shortened first half of the Tribulation meant the Abomination happened sooner than expected. They had to be ready, at a moment’s notice, to run for their lives.
The midst of the Tribulation is—1260 days from the end of the Tribulation.
However, it is not 1260 days from the beginning of the Tribulation, when the covenant was confirmed, because the Lord shortened those days (the first part of the Tribulation) for the elect’s sake.
Of the six places the Bible refers to the length of a half of the Tribulation—in every case, it was referring to the second part, not the first part. The second part was 1260 days, or 42 months, or 3½ years. The understanding of this comes, if a person understands the placement of these six key events.
The length of the first part was never given, other than to say, it had been shortened.
As we now know by looking back, we understand that God made all of this clear in the Scriptures, but few people, at that time, seemed to understand it. The few that did understand were the elect Jews that were to flee. They could see when things were happening on their handheld devices. As said, the Abomination came earlier than expected.
Let it be stated this way. If Satan, the Antichrist, and False Prophet would have been allowed by God to have the full 2520 days, there would be no people left on the earth.
As this broadcast stated, God had warned His people in His Word what He was doing—and they understood.
The Antichrist exalted himself above all that was called God, or that was worshipped. He sat in the Temple of God, showing that he was God. He magnified himself in his heart. He magnified himself above every god.
He (the Antichrist) did not regard the God of his fathers.
It was through Satan that the Antichrist had his power, position, and authority. He worked all kinds of false miracles and lying wonders. He did things beyond human ingenuity and ability. His power was mighty, but it was through Satan, not of his own. Because of these many miracles, the people were convinced that this was God, and that he spoke the truth.
The miracles, signs, and wonders he did were so great, that if it were possible they should have deceived even the very elect of God.
AND THROUGH HIS POLICY ALSO (or shrewdness) (or through what he does, or decrees) HE caused craft or deceit to prosper and succeed by his influence. Supernatural powers were used and prospered. He continued to prosper throughout the Tribulation until Jesus returned. He had no desire for women.
The Antichrist changed the set times and the laws. The various feast days of the past that were celebrated were erased.
The world was put under his control for three and a half years (or 1260 days). This was the time that had been determined by the Lord for him to reign. He had power over every tribe or people, over people of every language and nation. He prospered till the time of wrath was completed.
The Antichrist spoke proud or arrogant words. He accused the God of heaven of all manner of things.
He blasphemed the God of gods with accusations that had never been heard. He slandered His name, His tabernacle, and those that dwell in heaven.
The Antichrist was given power and authority to make war against the saints of God, to overcome or prevail against them. The saints had no power to defeat the Antichrist. For 3½ years, he greatly oppressed those that had been born-again, that is, until Jesus returned. The saints had to flee for their lives. Many were caught, tortured, and then beheaded, unless they renounced their trust in Christ, took the mark, and worshipped the image.
The Antichrist honored the god of forces. He honored Satan with gold, silver, precious stones, and costly gifts. He glorified the devil (which was also called the “dragon” in the Scriptures). The world also worshipped Satan.
AS THIS RADIO BROADCAST IS BEING DONE, WE NOW KNOW MANY THINGS THAT WE DID NOT KNOW PREVIOUSLY.
THIS IS BECAUSE JESUS HAS RETURNED.
THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON AND JUDGMENTS OF THE NATIONS ARE OVER.
WE ARE CURRENTLY IN THE GLORIOUS TIME OF THE MILLENNIUM, LOOKING BACK AT MANY THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPENED.
THE EARTH IS NOW A VASTLY DIFFERENT PLACE. THE MOUNTAINS ARE GONE. THE ANIMALS HAVE CHANGED.
ALL THE PEOPLE ON THE PLANET—BOTH JEWS AND GENTILES—LOVE CHRIST. THE WORLD LOVES THE JEWS.
THERE IS PEACE ALL OVER THE EARTH.
SATAN IS IN THE BOTTOMLESS PIT WITH A SEAL ON HIM, SO HE CAN DECEIVE THE NATIONS NO LONGER.
THE ANTICHRIST AND FALSE PROPHET ARE IN THE LAKE OF FIRE.
There was a war in heaven: Satan and his angels fought against the archangel Michael and his angels. The devil and his angels were defeated.
Both the devil and his angels were cast out of heaven to the earth. No longer was there any place in heaven for them. No longer did he have access to heaven. One-third of the stars (or angels) of heaven were also cast to the earth. Not only was life a test on the earth for people, it was also a test for the angels in heaven. Would they follow God, or the devil?
Satan, which deceiveth the whole world, (the bright, shining star) that had accused the brethren day and night, had fallen from heaven. There was rejoicing in heaven as the Accuser of the brethren was cast down. However, it was very bad news for the people of the earth. The Deceiver of the whole world was now among the inhabitants of the earth.
Jesus had said: I BEHELD SATAN AS LIGHTNING FALL FROM HEAVEN.
Isa 14:12-14-HOW ART THOU FALLEN FROM HEAVEN, O LUCIFER, SON OF THE MORNING! HOW ART THOU CUT DOWN TO THE GROUND, WHICH DIDST WEAKEN THE NATIONS! FOR THOU HAST SAID IN THINE HEART, I WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN, I WILL EXALT MY THRONE ABOVE THE STARS OF GOD: I WILL SIT ALSO UPON THE MOUNT OF THE CONGREGATION, IN THE SIDES OF THE NORTH: I WILL ASCEND ABOVE THE HEIGHTS OF THE CLOUDS; I WILL BE LIKE THE MOST HIGH.
Rev 12:10-THE ACCUSER OF OUR BRETHREN (or brothers) IS CAST (or thrown, or hurled) DOWN WHICH ACCUSED THEM BEFORE OUR GOD DAY AND NIGHT.
Rev 12:12-THEREFORE REJOICE, YE HEAVENS, AND YE THAT DWELL (or live) IN THEM. WOE TO THE INHABITERS OF THE EARTH AND OF THE SEA! FOR THE DEVIL (the Adversary) IS COME DOWN UNTO YOU, HAVING GREAT WRATH (he is very angry), BECAUSE HE KNOWETH THAT HE HATH BUT A SHORT TIME (he knows that his time is short!-JNT).
When the devil saw that he was cast unto the earth, he was furious and had great wrath. He was like a wild, raging animal with enormous power. He understood, at that time, his days were numbered. He knew that he had only a short time left, which is 3½ years. He went forth to utterly destroy anyone upon the face of the earth that followed Jesus. He went forth in great fury to destroy anyone that rejected the Antichrist and worshipping the image.
There was no one on earth that had the cunning ability to deceive like the devil. Neither was there any that had his power. The greatest slaughter of those that followed Jesus was about to begin.
God had told Israel in the Scriptures that their covenant (or agreement) with the Antichrist (or with hell) was, in essence, worthless. Indeed, it was canceled. It brought sheer terror.
God had warned Israel, regarding this agreement with the man of sin, that the bed was too short, and the covering was too narrow—meaning, the agreement was no good. It would not protect them. The only true protection comes from trusting in God.
The second part of the Tribulation (which is the last 3½ years) was called the Great Tribulation. It began with the sacrifices being stopped at the Temple in Jerusalem, and the Abomination of Desolation occurring. Other terms referring to this period are affliction (or worse trouble) or great distress.
During the first part, one-fourth of the world’s population died as a result of World War 3. One-third of the trees had been destroyed. Radioactive poisoning had encircled the world, causing all green grass to be destroyed. Many fish in the oceans had died.
Living conditions were bad. Diseases, earthquakes, violence, hatred, starvation—all increased like birth pains of a women in labor. There were wars and rumors of wars.
As horrible as the first part of the Tribulation was, the second part was far, far worse.
During the second part, more of God’s judgments came upon the earth to try and cause people to repent and to punish the world for their evil.
World War 4 exploded near the end, in which one-third of what was left of the world’s population were killed.
Famines and starvation, pestilences or horrible diseases, and earthquakes in various places continued to increase as the birth pains of a woman. World conditions kept getting worse and worse.
This horrible time of God’s wrath against the unbelievers upon the earth, coupled with the furious wrath of Satan against both Jewish and Gentile believers, made this last 1260 days unparalleled in history.
Never again, will there be such a time of both natural and supernatural plagues upon the world, sheer terror, brutality, persecutions, and martyrdom.
This time was so dreadful and terrifying, we find no adequate words to describe it.
After the Tribulation, the Battle of Armageddon exploded. It lasted one day. All of the greatest weapons and technology of the world, including the new advanced weapon of China, were completely useless against Christ and all the saints that were with Him, as He returned.
Only a few were left alive after Armageddon.
