If you’ve just tuned in, you are listening to a special UNIVERSAL NEWS BROADCAST. We are recapping the major past events, from Israel’s rebirth through the Tribulation and destruction of the world during the Battle of Armageddon.
The Russian military had suffered a great defeat in Israel as God intervened. However, the Russian homeland was still intact with its satellites and weapons of mass destruction.
Russia heard something which troubled him.
Their eyes now turned to an isle of the sea that lived in safety and was dwelling carelessly—the U.S.A.
Although Russia’s military had been destroyed in Israel, yet their country with its huge armament of hydrogen bombs, poison gas, long range missiles, and some well armed satellites were still in tact.
Russia had specially equipped missiles over the U.S. to neutralize the U.S. satellites.
Aboard some satellites, other specialized weapons had been placed.
Both Russia and the U.S. had developed bombs that were up to 2500 times bigger than was used on Japan.
The total power of the two countries combined was such that, all life on earth could be killed 6 times over.
Many of the missiles that both countries used could carry many of these huge bombs (that is, many warheads). Also as they neared their primary targets, the war heads could split and travel in different directions to various targets. Just one missile could destroy many cities and areas in a country. Indeed, both the U.S. and Russia had a great sword, a very, very great sword.
In addition, it had been reported that just one huge bomb dropped in the Atlantic Ocean at a certain point, could send a 300 feet tidal wave that would finally dissipate as it reached Pittsburg, PA. A good part of the eastern seaboard would be underwater.
The speed these missiles could travel was incredible. In as little as 8 minutes, both the U.S. and Russian missiles could reach the other from submarines, while others fired from their individual countries might take 15 minutes to reach the other country.
There were various countermeasures that each country could take to try and divert or destroy the incoming missiles.
Also each country had many kinds of satellites in space.
Some were defensive in nature. Some were anti-satellites.
Some were spying and warning satellites, which could intercept all sorts of communications.
Some had cameras on board that were so sensitive, they could take close up pictures of very small objects from hundreds of miles away.
Some could disrupt the communications of the other country, as well as the electrical grids.
Some had huge explosive capabilities.
Some could unleash unspeakable destruction of a nature that most people had no knowledge of.
Each country had countermeasures to try and counteract even the other countries countermeasures.
The radioactive fallout of just 1 missile with multiple hydrogen bombs was enormous.
Russia believed they could wipe out the U.S. with a swift and unexpected attack. They believed they could do it so no counterattack could be mounted.
Russia attacked suddenly.
Russia had done all possible to keep all chatter down as to their intentions.
They unleashed a blistering arsenal of both missiles from submarines, land based missiles and weapons in space from satellites. Their nearest missiles reached the U.S. in less than 8 minutes.
As the U.S. detected the attack coming, shock ensued. Air raid warnings barely sounded, and then it was too late.
As the huge bombs reached their targets, even aircraft in the nearby skies were destroyed by the shock waves. Electric grids became toast. There was no where to run. Communications were compromised.
The horrendous noise, the blinding light, the shock waves of the megaton bombs going off could not be described.
Peoples eyes instantly were blinded from the flash of the light.
The shock waves from the blast—that traveled at the speed of sound flattened everything in their path for miles around, and then the implosion. The shock wave reversed and returned to the center point also at the speed of sound.
The radio-active poisoning destroyed everything from creeping things to animals. Then afterward—however the winds went, so did the radio-active fallout.
As the countless megaton bombs exploded all over the United States, so they did over Russia as well. The countermeasures both countries had employed were only marginally successful for either. But, then, there were some surprises.
There was no where to run. There was no time or way to call anyone. Most communications were almost instantly silenced. The parents, their teenage children, even nearly all people were screaming in disbelief, but the screaming was brief, and then the people were silent. Buildings, bridges, and all structures had collapsed or were collapsing, and fire was everywhere.
In space, the Russian satellites began destroying U.S. satellites. There were surprises on both sides. There were some weapons that neither side had expected the other had.
Their idea of catching the U.S. off guard did not work. Both the U.S. and Russia had systems that would automatically retaliate, even if their electrical grids and command centers had been disabled, and even if some of their satellites had been compromised or destroyed.
Fire came upon both the U.S. and Russia from each other.
The fiery red horse had been unleashed.
What was it like in those last few seconds?
First, there is the light—a flash of light so intense that it instantly fries anything it touches.
People’s eyes are instantly gone, if their eyes are facing the light.
Eye lids do little to protect the eyes, because of the light's intensity.
People may be standing on a sidewalk—when the blinding, hot light hits, the sidewalk is scorched, but the imprint of the person that was standing there leaves a permanent unscorched shadow on the sidewalk.
The heat from the flash was intense. Many died instantly.
This is followed by the ear-piercing noise with the ground shaking and collapsing.
The blast rushes out from the center at the speed of sound, slightly over 700 miles an hour, which is about 2 to 3 times faster than the worst tornado, and thousands of times more powerful.
Everything in its path is flattened instantly.
But then the blast with all its debris reverses direction and is sucked inward at the same speed. Anything that survived the first blast is usually destroyed by the implosion at over 700 miles an hour. Then there is the radio-active dust raining down.
When the smoke clears, there is a crater. Depending on the size of the hydrogen bomb, where there once was a city, there is a hole, that is, a huge crater.
Then there is the aftermath. The radio-active cloud begins to travel as the wind directs it. As it travels, the grass is destroyed. It can be said, it burns up. Trees also die depending on how high the amount of fallout is. Many people die a slow, sickening, agonizing death afterward. Some may survive the radiation depending on how much they were infected, but sickness and misery lies ahead. Other diseases may come forth, such as cancer.
After the bombs had ceased, there were no doctors to turn to. There were no hospitals. There were no vehicles to take a person anywhere. Many roads were nothing but piles of blown up cement or asphalt. There were no more communications. There were only cries for help from those that remained alive and were in agony, but there was none to help.
Both the U.S. and Russia had terrifying weapons in space, which were also unleashed.
As these hurled down, there was a fiery trail that could be seen. Then their cargos were unleashed, and many people died.
The attacks were not confined to the land areas only, but also the oceans.
The tidal waves were beyond description in both height and intensity.
A third of the earth was burned and suffered radio-active poisoning.
One-third of all the trees on earth died from the radio-active poisoning.
Also all the green vegetation on earth was destroyed from the fallout.
All farm crops all over the earth were destroyed. As a result, there was massive starvation afterward. If food could be found, it took a day's wages to buy a day's worth of food. Much of the food could not be eaten, as it had become poisoned. Some that ate the food later died.
Both Russia and the U.S. had partly become a pile of radio-active ash. God had sent fire upon them both, using the other.
During this very brief U.S.A. versus Russia war, there was a huge object (like a mountain), all ablaze, burning with fire, which came down. It came down into the sea.
Throughout an area of one-third of the sea, many were dead.
Mankind knew that the U.S. and Russia had developed awesome weapons, but few ever realized the enormous power they really had. Few ever believed that they would be used.
As a result of the huge object, a third of the ships were destroyed, and a third of the living creatures which were in the sea also died.
Then what looked like a great star, blazing like a torch, came from the sky. It fell upon on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water of the world. And the name of this was called Wormwood (which may be interpreted radio-active or bitter). It was an object that caused great radiation poisoning. As a result, a third of the waters of the earth became radio-active (or became wormwood) and many people died from the waters that had become poisoned.
As a result of the weapons used by both the U.S. and Russia, the clouds were very thick for 4 hours of the day and 4 hours of the night.
These thick clouds covered one-third of the earth. The light from the stars, the moon, and the sun did not appear for 8 hours.
This was the length of the war between Russia and the U.S. The war lasted 8 hours and killed nearly two billion people worldwide. One in every 4 people in the world—were dead.
So little of the U.S. was left and so few of its people were left alive, that they were no longer mentioned in the Scriptures until after the Millennium had already begun.
Much of the U.S. and Russia—their people were dead. There were so few left alive, that there was none to bury the dead in both countries.
The destruction was so bad in the U.S., that the dead bodies would be left to the birds of prey and to the wild animals. There would be so many dead that the birds would feed on the dead all summer, and the wild animals all winter.
The destruction of the United States was as if a farmer had cut off the shoots with pruning knives and cut down and took away the spreading branches.
What would remain of a once great nation that was founded upon Christian principles and religious freedom would be a stump. It was once a large, beautiful tree. It was now a stump with no branches.
The nation had become an abomination in the eyes of the holy God; and it had paid the price. It was destroyed with only a few people left.
God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints.
Regretfully, the lukewarm church before the Rapture mostly taught that a Christian was only to reverence God. God forbid! By the fear of God, men depart from evil. Does anyone depart from evil, because they reverence Him?
So little of Russia was left, that it was never mentioned again in the Scriptures until after the Millennium was all over.
God had said in His Word, regarding these things: BEHOLD, IT IS COME, AND IT IS DONE, SAITH THE LORD GOD: THIS IS THE DAY WHEREOF I HAVE SPOKEN-ref Ezek 39:8.
As a result of the U.S. and Russia inflicting great destruction on each other, starvation filled the earth.
Food was scarce. The price of a day’s food was a day’s wages, if a person could find food. Banks and financial institutions had been destroyed. Anyone located in the countries affected by the 8 hour war between the USA and Russia, their money that was in the banks was null and void. But even more so, both the American dollar and the Russia rubles were useless. There was no more USA or Russia as there once was. As already said—the USA was only a stump compared to the great, beautiful, prosperous and fruit-bearing tree it had once been.
The war had resulted in the death of 1 out of every 4 people on planet earth, nearly two billion.
The black horse of starvation had been released.
But what was even more terrifying than all of this was the fact that 100 percent of the nearly 2 billion people that died—
This was the hell that few, if any, ever believed they would be there.
They perished for eternity. How was this possible?
Many lukewarm teachers before the Rapture had told people they would have a second chance to get saved during the Tribulation.
Then the Rapture came. They were left behind. Then the war came, and many were killed. Many had no second chance.
Let us recap what had happened, so we can understand how all that died (nearly 2 billion people) went to hell.
The Rapture had just happened not long before World War 3.
Every saved person was taken to be with the Lord in the Rapture.
Every person left behind was not worthy to be taken.
Those left behind—their faith and obedience to God’s Word had failed the test they went through. Life was the test, but virtually no ministers or their followers understood this, until it was too late.
They did not understand that once a person said yes to Jesus and began to obey the Gospel—their faith was going to be tested or proved to be either false or genuine. Satan, which deceives the whole world, would do everything possible to try and cause a person to turn back from following Christ.
This test would come through many trials, tribulations, persecutions, sufferings, hardships, and many, many temptations of all sorts. Few people’s faith and obedience to God survived this time of their faith being tested or proved. Few esteemed the Word of God more necessary than their necessary food. Many resisted fasting, tithing, studying and obeying the Bible, and obeying God’s commandments. Many were never saved in the first place, while others never grew beyond being a baby, or lukewarm Christian. The kind of faith that saves will stand the test of dying for Christ by having their head chopped off. Would a person die for Christ, if they have not died to themselves?
Once the Rapture had taken all that were found worthy, no saved person was left on earth. In addition, there was no way for a person to become saved at that time. It was a time of spiritual darkness on the earth.
The Antichrist had come forth. A covenant with Israel and others had taken place. Russia and its allies had invaded Israel, but they were destroyed by the hand of God. Then there was a spiritual awakening in Israel, and also around the world, but no one was yet saved.
Then came the last part of WW3. Russia and the U.S. unleashed unthinkable destruction on each other. One out of every 4 people on the earth died as a result. Not one person had been saved up to this point. All the people went to hell, which is a place of torment and a waiting place where they will remain until they appear at the Great White Throne Judgment for the final judgment; and then they are cast into the lake of fire for eternity.
Nearly two billion people died as a result of this war. They died as a result of terrifying weapons like the world had never seen. They died as a result of starvation and from plagues or diseases, which included radio-active poisoning. They died as a result of the wild animals of the earth.
The first two months of the Tribulation had passed. There remained several more years. The Tribulation was the worst time that this planet had ever seen since man has existed. It was so bad, that if Jesus had not returned at the time He did, no life of any kind on the planet would exist.
At the approximate time the Tribulation began, with the confirmation of a covenant between the Antichrist, Israel and others, 144,000 male, virgin Jews were sealed with the seal of the living God on their foreheads.
This seal protected them from the horrible destruction that came upon the earth.
Twelve thousand were sealed from each of the tribes of Israel. These were Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin. None were sealed from the tribe of Dan.
As a result of God intervening and revealing Himself through the destruction of the huge military armada that came against Israel, many people in Israel, including those of the 144,000, believed on Jesus the Messiah.
At that time, the 144,000 began going forth throughout the world for the rest of the first part of the Tribulation. As a result of God’s miracle in Israel, to which no one could deny, and the 144,000 male, virgin Jews—a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues gave their lives to Christ.
Prior to the Rapture, there had been much false teaching from unlearned ministers regarding the first part of the Tribulation. Some taught the first half of the Tribulation was not going to be so bad for those that chose to follow Christ. They were very, very wrong.
Even before the Rapture, a born again Christian that lived in some Muslim countries were in grave danger of being killed. Christian churches were sometimes burned to the ground. Those that attended were sometimes beaten and killed.
During the first part of the Tribulation, things were far worse. Those that followed Christ were singled out and persecuted. They were regarded as the scum of the earth. Betrayal was everywhere. Children were against their parents, relatives against relatives, wives against husbands, and neighbor was against neighbor.
Followers of Christ were falsely accused, spit on, ridiculed, closely watched and sometimes had their property confiscated. Some were put in jail. Others had their children taken away from them. For a Christian to find employment was nearly impossible. No one could be trusted.
Bibles had to be hidden. Those that were found were seized and persecutions and death often resulted. Christian books and literature had to be hidden. Followers of Christ were sometimes beaten. Hatred abounded everywhere. Crime and violence was rampant. There was a famine of finding and hearing God’s Word. All Christian teaching anywhere was forbidden. Despite this, the 144,000 went forth.
Anyone that was known to be a Christian could expect to be greatly persecuted. Many were put in jail on false charges. Many were killed, just because they trusted in Christ.
Because sin abounded, the love of many was like ice—very cold. Hatred was a way of life. People that came to Christ were considered enemies of the state. In some cases, they were hunted down like animals.
In the second part of the Tribulation, every person in the world that did not worship the image of the Antichrist and was found, was arrested, persecuted, and then beheaded.
The Scriptures clearly revealed two groups in heaven that were killed for following Christ during the Tribulation.
One group was from the first part of the Tribulation.
The other group was from the second part.
It was written: (the first part of the Tribulation). AND WHEN HE (the Lamb, Jesus) HAD OPENED THE FIFTH SEAL, I SAW UNDER THE ALTAR THE SOULS OF THEM THAT WERE SLAIN (or put to death) FOR (proclaiming) THE WORD OF GOD, AND FOR THE TESTIMONY (or bearing witness) WHICH THEY HELD-Rev 6:9. During the first part of the Tribulation, many were killed for proclaiming God’s Word and for the testimony of Jesus.
AND THEY CRIED (or called) WITH A LOUD VOICE, SAYING, HOW LONG, O LORD, HOLY AND TRUE, DOST THOU NOT JUDGE (or until you judge) AND AVENGE OUR BLOOD ON THEM THAT DWELL ON THE EARTH-Rev 6:10.
God answered them by telling them that they should rest for a little season.
In other words, this was still the first part of the Tribulation, the second part of the Tribulation still had to take place.
AND WHITE ROBES (which is the righteousness of the saints) WERE GIVEN UNTO EVERY ONE OF THEM; AND IT WAS SAID UNTO THEM, THAT THEY SHOULD REST YET FOR A LITTLE SEASON (or a little longer), UNTIL THEIR FELLOWSERVANTS ALSO AND THEIR BRETHREN, THAT SHOULD BE KILLED AS THEY WERE (or as they had been), SHOULD BE FULFILLED (or completed)-Rev 6:11.
Two groups were revealed here.
The first group was under the altar, saying, “How long?” They came out of the first part of the Tribulation.
The second group was killed shortly thereafter. Both groups LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH-Rev 12:11.
(The second group was killed for not worshipping the image. This was second part of the Tribulation) AFTER THIS I BEHELD, AND, LO, A GREAT MULTITUDE (or a huge crowd), WHICH NO MAN COULD NUMBER (or too large for anyone to count), OF ALL NATIONS, AND KINDREDS (or tribes), AND PEOPLE, AND TONGUES (or language), STOOD BEFORE (or in front of) THE THRONE, AND BEFORE (or in front of) THE LAMB (Jesus), CLOTHED WITH (or dressed, or wearing) WHITE ROBES, AND PALMS (or palm branches) IN THEIR HANDS. (The palm branches—victory.)
This was the group that had refused to worship the image of the Antichrist. These had been tortured and then beheaded.
Regarding the United States, there were only a few, a very few, that were left alive.
There were no more cities. Destruction was everywhere. Radiation was extremely heavy in certain areas.
There were no more utilities. Electric and running water were things of the past.
All green grass and farm crops were gone.
Most of the trees were gone.
Much was like a desolate wilderness.
Only the sound of wind blowing, here and there, was heard, along with the birds and wild animals that had survived.
Where there had been cities, there were now huge craters and rubble; and the danger of radiation lingered. It would have been an asset to have had a Geiger counter to measure the radiation levels, so one would know to stay clear of those areas, but then where could batteries be found? It was every man for himself.
In some coastal cities, there were now craters filled with sea water.
Indeed, all coastal states were disaster areas waiting to happen, because of the threat of tidal waves.
Throughout the entire world, hatred continued to increase and abound.
There were not enough people left alive in the U.S. to even begin to bury the dead.
For those few that remained, it was like living a thousand years ago. Wild animals and birds increased, which fed on the millions of dead bodies. The stench in some areas was unbearable. The only transportation was a person’s own feet. Sickness and starvation abounded. People sought for food. There were canned foods in some destroyed cities, but these places were often radiation deathtraps, as was much of the U.S.
There were a few areas that did not fair quite as badly. These were areas considered by Russia as having no importance, located far from any military installation, or city, or coastline.
The once prosperous and proud nation—the United States of America—had turned against God. It had turned to sin and abominations and things that pleased the flesh.
Now, it had paid the price. Many that had done these things were now dead bodies waiting to be eaten.
The few left alive, struggled greatly to survive.
One-fourth of the world’s population died, approximately 2 billion people.
Not only was there a lack of farm crops, there was also a shortage of fish, especially fish that was not contaminated.
All this happened in a very brief span of time; yet, the Tribulation was barely two months old.
